Content:
In this seminar, attention will be addressed to the function, perception, display of various Late Antique objects in the KHM of Vienna. The students are required to choose an object after a first visit to the museum, describe it and find information on its date, importance, use, provenance, acquisition in the collection of KHM (when and if possible). Students are required to present their research in class and in written form (Max 5 pages).
The organisation of the individual work and the assignments will be discussed during the first classes.
