Aims, contents and method of the course

Anhand ausgewählter lyrischer Gedichte aus der röm. Klassik (Horaz), der lat. Spätantike (Ambrosius, Prudentius, Boethius) und dem lat. Mittelalter (Metellus von Tegernsee, Carmina Burana) sollen die Methoden der klass.-philolog. Interpretation vorgestellt werden

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Die Studierenden sollen nach diesem PS befähigt sein, selbständig lat. Texte aller Epochen philologisch zu interpretieren

Examination topics

philologische Interpretation nach textkritischen, sachlichen, stilistischen und literarhistorischen Kriterien (inter- und intratextuelle Interpretation)
