Aims, contents and method of the course

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
Ziel der Übung ist eine erste Einführung in die griechische Paläographie. Anhand der Lektüre von Specimina ausgewählter byzantinischer Manuskripte wird ein Überblick der wichtigsten Schriftarten und -stile insbesondere vom 9. bis zum 15. Jh. angeboten.

Methode: Allgemeine Einführung in die Fragestellungen der griechischen Paläographie, angeleitete und selbstständige Lektüre.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Erforderlich: Griechischkenntnisse, aktive Teilnahme an der Lehrveranstaltung mit Lektüre, Übersetzung und Interpretation der Originalquellen anhand digitaler Reproduktionen griechisch-byzantinischer Handschriften. Die Inhalte der Übung werden den Kenntnissen der Studierenden entsprechend angepasst.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab: Anwesenheitspflicht (maximal zweimaliges unentschuldigtes Fehlen erlaubt), aktive Beteiligung an der Übung. Die Benotung erfolgt aus der Beurteilung der aktiven Mitarbeit.
