Aims, contents and method of the course

Die LV bietet anhand der Darstellung römischer Niederlagen bei Livius eine Einführung in wissenschaftliche Arbeits- und Präsentationstechniken (Hilfsmittel zur Textinterpretation, Analyse des Forschungsstandes als Basis, um eine lohnende Fragestellung zu erkennen bzw. diese im Kontext aktueller Tendenzen / Methoden zu behandeln; richtiges Zitieren / "gute wissenschaftliche Praxis"; strukturierte Präsentation; stilistische Gestaltung)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Für einen positiven Abschluss erforderlich: positive Beurteilung der abzufassenden schriftlichen Arbeit und gelungene mündliche Präsentation der Ergebnisse (Referat) im Rahmen der Lehrveranstaltung.
Kurzreferat incl. Abstract + Bibliographie (15%), Referat (20%), Diskussionsbeiträge (5%), schriftliche Arbeit (60%)
Es besteht Anwesenheitspflicht, zweimaliges Fehlen ist gestattet.
