Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Inhalte: Gemeinsame Lektüre eines homerischen Gesangs (Ilias 14), verbunden mit geduldiger Einführung in die homerische Sprache und Metrik sowie gezielten Hinweisen auf text- und literaturwissenschaftliche Methodik und auf Problemfelder der Homerforschung.
Ziele: Erreichung einer gesicherten Grundkompetenz in der homerischen Sprache und der selbständigen Anwendung von Interpretationsansätzen.
Methoden: Schrittweise Hinführung von angeleiteter zu selbständiger Übersetzungs- und Interpretationsarbeit.

Assessment and permitted materials

Regelmäßige Anwesenheit und Mitarbeit; wöchentliche Vorbereitung; Erfüllung von Arbeitsaufträgen; mündliche Abschlussprüfung über den gemeinsam erarbeiteten Stoff.

Beurteilungsmaßstab:
Anwesenheit: höchstens 3 Absenzen
Mitarbeit: 10%
Schriftliche Arbeitsaufträge: 10%
Mündliche Vorbereitung: 30%
Abschlussprüfung: 50%

Mindestanforderung: Fehlerfreie Bewältigung von 50% der gestellten Aufgaben
