Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
On the basis of ancient texts (translation will be provided) the development of public and private law in different epochs of ancient history will be presented. After an introduction to the legal history of the Ancient Near East the main focus will be on Greek and Roman Law.

Active participation, homework, 1 short test, written exam at the end of the semester
