Assessment and permitted materials

1. Your attendance (max. 3 leaves of absence)
2. Homework assignments to be anounced during the semester.
Please expect homework assignments every 2-3 weeks.
3. Mid-term examination
4. Final examination

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Acquiring basic theoretical and practical knowledge in Linguistics, with a special focus on German Linguistics.

QUANTIFICATION OF YOUR OUTPUT
- Attendance (max. 3 leaves of absence) as a prerequisite to attend the final examination
- Homeworks as a prerequisite to attend the nid-term and the final examination
- Mid-term examination 40% and final examination 60%

Hence please take your attendance, your homework and your mid-term exam as seriously as you take your final examination.
