Aims, contents and method of the course

Unterschiedliche Positionen der Literatur- und Kulturtheorie werden anhand zentraler Texte vorgestellt und diskutiert (u.a. Hermeneutik, Strukturalismus, Psychoanalyse, Medientheorie, Literatursoziologie, Genderstudies, Diskursanalyse, New Historicism, Intertextualität etc.).

Gründliche Lektüre der zu diskutierenden Texte als Vorbereitung auf die jeweilige Lehrveranstaltung, Beteiligung an der Diskussion, Impulsreferat mit Handout, kurzes Dossier über drei Literatur-/Kulturtheorien nach Wahl (Hausarbeit)
