Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Im Konversatorium wird es um Formen und Verfahren von Komik gehen, wobei vor allem das subversive Potenzial von Komik interessiert. Im Zentrum stehen ausgewählte Theaterstücke österreichischer AutorInnen des 19. und 20. Jahrhundersts: von Ferdinand Raimund, Johann Nestroy, Arthur Schnitzler, Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Thomas Bernhard und Elfriede Jelinek.
Die Erarbeitung der Stücke und ihrer Komik wird in Formen und Diskussionen und Gesprächen stattfinden.

Assessment and permitted materials

- Anwesenheit, Teilnahme an den Diskussionen in Kleingruppen und im Plenum
- Präsentation der individuellen Themenstellung
- Schriftliches Expose
- Teilnahme an einer Tagung zu Komik am 19. und 21. Juni 2018 (jeweils abends)
- Abschließendes Prüfungsgespräch

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

- Erwartet werden Basiskenntnisse der AutorInnnen und von Komik
- Regelmäßige Anwesenheit und aktive Mitarbeit
- Diskussionsbeiträge
- Schriftliches Expose
