Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Lektüre der gotischen Bibel, vielleicht auch der Skeireins. Die Lehrveranstung soll den Teilnehmenden die gotische Grammatik näherbringen. Das Gotische gilt als sehr archaisch und steht in vielen Punkten dem Urgermanischen nahe. Wir werden uns daher auf Laut- und Formenlehre, bzw. das Etymologisieren konzentrieren

Reading list
Braune-Ebbinghaus, Gotische Grammatik. Diese sollten Sie immer mitbringen, Sie können sie in der Bibliothek für die Dauer des Semesters entlehnen. Es gibt dort mindests 15 Exemplare, allerdings nicht der letzten Auflage, was jedoch nicht so wichtig ist. Die Grammatik enthält die Texte und ein Glossar, weitere Literatur werden Sie in der Übung kennenlernen.
