Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course aims at developing knowledge and skills for describing and analysing linguistic structures. The focus lies on morphology and syntax. These topics are regarded as central for a descriptive grammar of a language. Beyond that, a critical view on the linguistic terminology should be developed, as well as a comprehensive perspective on the fascinating phenomenon of language.

Assessment and permitted materials

4 short tests, the grade for the course is calculated from the mean of the three best tests.
