Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Presentation of three argentinian authors which had a decisive influence on the new generation of Latin American writers: Borges, Bioy Casares and Cortázar, and of Roberto Bolano from Chile, in whose work these models are present. Bolano (d.2003) has been defined the model of 21st century Latin American writing in a global context

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam at the end of January 2010

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Better orientation about the new tendencies of Latin American Literature and advanced notions about the "literatura fantástica" and post-modern literature in Latin America
