Aims, contents and method of the course

Presentation of a synthetic overview of hispanic literatures in Europe and the Americas during the 9th century, description of the cultural translations of Romantic aesthetics from English and German literatures passing through the French context into the peripheric Spanish-speaking cultures

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam at the end of January 2017

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Orientation about the development of Hispanic Literature(s) in the Romantic period with emphasis on approaches of culture studies and literary communication; capacities of synthesis, understanding of relations, linguistic skills in Spanish.
