Aims, contents and method of the course

Thema: die großen Erzählungen Spaniens und Lateinamerikas - historische und fiktive - , ihre Figuren, ihr Entstehungszusammenhang und die Überlieferung bis in die Gegenwart. Ausgangsthese: diese Erzählungen geben bis heute Modelle für die Deutung von Welt und Gesellschaft ab. Methode: Untersuchung dieser Geschichten, ihrer Rezeption und Neubewertung in unterschiedlichen Quellen und Medien

Assessment and permitted materials

Schriftliche Analyse einer Erzählung und ihrer Figuren. Dazu: Lektüretest als Zwischentest; Vorlage eines Konzepts, eines Arbeitsplans und einer Bibliographie, sowie einer Gliederung im Verlauf des Semesters; schriftliche Seminararbeit, die 7000 Wörter umfasst; mündliche Präsentation von Zwischenergebnissen in Form von Kurzreferaten; regelmäßige Präsenz und Teilnahme
