Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

After explaining the evolution and formation of the regions and autonomous regions that make up the Spanish nation up to the present day, other aspects of the regional identity of a Spain that claims to have several nationalities in its Constitution will be analysed in detail.
The aim is to understand the complexity of Spain and its nations/nationalities.
The working method includes lectures, group discussions and the presentation of the results obtained by the participants.

Assessment and permitted materials

Continuous assessment.
writing two written papers (20+70 points), and oral presentation (10 points)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Completion of the StEOP and the VO of the module Landeswissenschaft.
Distribution of the final grade:
90-100=1 / 81-89=2 / 71-80=3 / 60-70=4 / 0-59=5
Lack of Spanish grammar will not be taken into account in the mark, as long as they do not hinder the understanding of the text.
Writting papers: In order to ensure good scientific practice, the course organizers can invite students to a note-relevant discussion after handing in the term paper, which has to be completed positively.
End writting paper = There will be a maximum delivery date that is mandatory to respect.
