Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim of the present working group is to consistently deepen the basic knowledge of STEOP about the approaches of French linguistics to describe French and its varieties and will strive for the applications relevant to the teaching profession. The selected approaches (phonematics and graphematics, morphosyntax, semantics, text analysis) will be supplemented and deepened by questions of variety linguistics as well as normative politics (positioning of varieties) as well as text classifications. In particular, the classification of French text examples according to text classes and text types will also be tested. Here, too, special attention will be paid to the contrasting of the French and German languages in terms of language didactics. In addition, the work steps for independent research of scientific literature and for the critical evaluation of scientific descriptions are taught. Methods and applications are to be developed interactively and jointly evaluated on the basis of concrete text examples and audio documents.

Regular, punctual (!) Attendance is part of the collaboration and as such an important part of the service. Furthermore, a short written paper, a short presentation and an oral examination.
