Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
All parts of the exam must be positive, i.e. unexcused absences from the presentation are NOT allowed, as well as late submission or too frequent absences. Active participation and active contributions to the discussion are included in the grade as positive. Participation can therefore improve the grade by one degree at a time, but it can also worsen it.
Examination topics
The topic of the paper is also the topic of the thesis. Normally, there is no final exam.
Reading list
Basic literature: Tanzmeister, Robert: Von den Alpen bis Sizilien. Sprachliche Vielfalt und Sprachenpolitik in Italien. In: Gugenberger, Eva: Vielsprachiges Europa: zur Situation der regionalen Sprachen von der Iberischen Halbinsel bis zum Kaukasus. Frankfurt / Wien: Lang 2003.
Each student deals with their own topic, so the relevant literature is different. Depending on the topic to be worked on, everyone individually and with my support puts together a bibliography of the literature to be taken into account.
