Aims, contents and method of the course

The course shows the development of Latin-American literatures from the beginning of the "boom" in the 1950-ies up to the crisis and the globalizing tendences around 2000 by presenting and analyzing key-texts of this period

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

General knowledge about the tendencies and regional differences of the literary development in the Regions of Latin America since the 1950ies. Students must be able to combine information and show the main tendencies of development of esthetic ideas in Latin American literatures
