Literature of memory places
National Literature or Weltliteratur
Representative texts vs canon
Postcolonial studies and local literature

Assessment and permitted materials

Writing a report on a given topic (theoretical conceptualization and analysis).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

-active presence at the seminar;
-scientific essay writing.

Examination topics

-Text analysis (L. Blaga, C. Petrescu, E. Cioran, L. Rebreanu, G. Mihaescu).
-Theoretical problematization ("Central Europe", F. Moretti, Le Rider and P. Nora).
