Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim of this course is to consolidate the basic concepts and theoretical approaches presented in the VO STEOP - Basic Module Linguistics Lecture (French) through practical exercises and readings. In particular, the most important concepts and theoretical approaches for future teachers, especially with regard to language acquisition will be discussed and developed. Furthermore, this course aims to enable students to conduct research and read scientific literature.

Assessment and permitted materials

one written test (online) (20 %), mini-presentations/chairing of discussion & homework (including required readings) (40%), portfolio (40%)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

passing grade: 60%
