Aims, contents and method of the course

Objectives:
-Knowing the border genre: literary diary;
-Understanding the aesthetics of the journal;
-Analysis of journals that read the history of social ideas:
-Ion Codru Drăguşanu, „Peregrinul transilvan sau Epistole scrise din ţări străine unui amic în patrie”;
-Jeni Acterian, „Jurnalul unei fete greu de mulțumit” (1929-1953);
-Mihail Sebastian, „Jurnal” (1935-1944);
-Alice Voinescu, „Jurnal”

Assessment and permitted materials

Analysis of excerpts from the journals discussed;
Interpretation and analysis of a Romanian literary journal.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Active presence at the seminar (sending homework, exercices, answers);
Presenting the final referat;
Final exam
