Aims, contents and method of the course

- Presentation, discussion and peer-feedback of MEd theses projects in literary / cultural studies and literature education
- discussion and development of concepts, approaches and methods for MEd thesis paper projects
- defining research questions, selecting sources, academic writing (revision)
- general support according to students' needs and group size

Assessment and permitted materials

Regular attendance; active participation in class and in peer-feedback loop; project presentation and written tasks

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

active participation and peer feedback: 20%
project presentation: 40%
annotated bibliography: 20%
literature review: 20%
Marks in %:
1 (very good): 90-100%
2 (good): 81-89%
3 (satisfactory): 71-80%
4 (pass): 60-70%
5 (fail): 0-59%

Examination topics

There will be no sit-down exam. Students find their own resources for their masters projects.

Reading list

Depending on their MA projects, students are expected to come up with their own materials. Additional literature may be provided by me according to students' individual needs.
