Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Assessment is based on a portfolio of sample texts and class performance.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The objective of this course is to enable students to teach writing skills by (1) focusing on standards-based text types, their characteristics and criteria of assessment and by (2) experimenting with creative writing techniques as a means to explore English in an interesting and motivating way that goes beyond traditional classroom activities.
