Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course introduces students to a selection of basic issues in literary and cultural studies. It acquaints students with relevant terminology and its practical application (analysis & didactics) and provides a survey of the major approaches in both fields. The relevance of the various issues for the English language classroom will be highlighted.

multiple choice exam in English (combined exam with linguistics)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
In order to pass you will need to achieve 59.50% in each part (linguistics; literature/culture).
In case only one part is positive: If you have a 1 in the positive part you need to reach at least 52.00% for a pass. With a 2, you need 54.00%; with a 3: 56.00%; with a 4: 58.00%.
