      Aims, contents and method of the course

      * This tutorial accompanies the STEOP lecture course Language Analysis. It is offered to help you revise, practise and prepare well for the exam. Is there something you don't understand? Something you find particularly difficult? Something you want to hear again? Come to the tutorial! We will address your questions and review key topics of the lecture by way of new exercises and examples. Attendance is not compulsory, though highly encouraged.
      * Please register for the tutorial to get access to the Moodle course.
      * Format of the tutorial: interactive study paths on Moodle, accompanying live sessions on BBB for additional practice, Q&A and troubleshooting.

      Assessment and permitted materials

      Tutorial: none

      StEOP exam: written examination (two dates per semester, on site: normally mid-December and end of January), multiple option (90 minute "Modulprüfung" on ISL1 and Language Analysis). No materials permitted in the exam.
      Information about the exam, including this semester’s dates, is provided on the Language Analysis Moodle platform.

      Reading list

      There is a Language Analysis handout, which students are requested to buy from CopyStudio (Schwarzspanierstraße 10, 1090 Wien; cash only).
      If you do not live in Vienna, please organize somebody to buy one for you and send it to you by post. You need a copy, ideally BEFORE the first lecture.
