Aims, contents and method of the course

This is an optional course to accompany the StEOP lecture series "Introduction to English Linguistics". We will revise the key topics discussed during the lectures with new examples, exercises and plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion. These sessions are not compulsory and will not have a direct impact on your grade (i.e. absence will not automatically result in a worse grade), although many students have found the tutorials to be a key part of their revision in preparation for the StEOP exam.
You do not need to register separately for the tutorials. All information, as well as additional resources and materials (quizzes, forums etc.), can be found on the main Moodle platform for the lecture series "Introduction to English Linguistics".

Important: In the summer semester, there are no lectures for "Introduction to English Linguistics" (only these tutorial sessions). The streams, slides, and other resources from last semester's lectures will be available on this semester's Moodle platform.
