Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This tutorial accompanies the STEOP lecture course Introduction to the Study of Language 1. It is offered to help you revise, practice, and prepare well for the exam. Is there something you don't understand? Something you find particularly difficult? Something you want to hear again? Come to the tutorial! We will address your questions and review key topics of the lecture by way of new exercises and examples. Attendance is not compulsory, though highly encouraged.Important: In the summer semester, there are no ISL1 lectures (only these tutorial sessions). You will find all materials and resources (streams, slides, quizzes, ...) from the previous semester on this semester's Moodle platform. Please register for the tutorial to get access to the Moodle course!
Assessment and permitted materials
tutorial: noneStEOP Exam: Written examination (two dates per semester), multiple option (90 minute "Modulprüfung" on ISL1 and Language Analysis). No materials permitted in the exam.IMPORTANT UPDATE: As you probably know, the Modulprüfung (LA and ISL1) is a multiple-option exam. This means that it cannot be held online. All exams this semester which have to be held on site at the university are now being organized centrally. As soon as we know the dates/times/location, we will let you know, of course. But please bear in mind that this year, the summer months (July to September) are not "vorlesungsfrei" and so one or both of the exams could also take place then.
