Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar will aim to read Australia from multiple angles, trying to understand the vast diversity of the nation and its at times troubled history. Students will read from a variety of genres including poetry, prose, biography and letters. Student will gain tools essential in communicating their arguments in an academic manner.
Assessment and permitted materials
There will be bi-weekly presentations as well as feedback reports for the other students. Students will write a paper at the end of the semester. Class discussion will be an important factor.
