Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture course is an introduction into the world of children's and young adult literature. Students will learn about the history of literature for young readers, about the major theoretical debates in the field and will get to know representatives of the major genres.

written exam: combination of multiple choice and essay-type question(s)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
60% of both mc and essay question
