Aims, contents and method of the course
In this class, we will be looking at the ways in which the verbal and the visual component intersect in literature for young readers. Based on theories of analysing picture books and sequential narratives, we will be looking at a broad range of texts as well as a variety of methods of analysis and literary theories that will help us arrive at various interpretations of these texts.

- to use, refine and develop methods for the analysis of the relationship of text and image
