While the course as such will focus primarily on cultural rather than literary texts, knowledge of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" is highly desirable - please make sure to read it or at least inform yourself in detail about its content, structure, and key themes before the first session (the course will start March 19th owing to the "Rektorstag" on March 12th.)A complete list of materials (and instructions on how to access them) will be provided in the first session. The eLearning platform Moodle will be used in this course.
