Assessment will be mainly based on portfolios.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The objectives of this course are to prepare students for the "Schulpraktikum" by focusing on the diverse roles and tasks of the EFL teacher, the basic concepts of CLT, lesson planning, classroom management and practical teaching techniques, as well as observation criteria.

Requirements ("zwingend vorgeschriebene Leistungen"): You are expected to 1. observe an experienced teacher in a self-organised visit to a school/institution of your choice; 2. teach your peers in a short sequence in our course (together with a colleague); 3. hand in a course portfolio.
