Aims, contents and method of the course
In this class, we will be looking at ways of promoting the reading of literature in the EFL classroom and at the aims and principles of such approaches. This exploration will be based on patterns that guide the reading of texts in a foreign language and will employ a broad range of materials.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
- Students will get to know the principles of reading and of reading in a foreign language
- Students will explore how these can be made good use of in the EFL classroom
