Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This class will introduce students to general principles of reading and storytelling by examining a wide range of texts and their respective uses in the EFL classroom. A special focus will be on visual literacy teaching, exploiting media like video, film and other visual narratives as both stimulating input and potential means of expression in a foreign language learning environment. Discussions of controversial issues entailed in the topics outlined above will be encouraged. Students will also have the opportunity to observe experienced teachers and try out their own activities in schools.
