Aims, contents and method of the course
Lectures in ecocriticical point of view, reading Finnish Literature from contemporary ecothrilers back to 19320´s rural impressionism.
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The Student understands the relationship between language and nature, s/he knows the methods of ecocritical literary analysis, s/he can analyse the changing literary styles and descriptions of nature, s/he will know the questions of aesthetics and politics concerning nature and human life.
