Die ungarische Gegenwartsliteratur und einige ältere Autoren erregten in den letzten 20 Jahren eine große Aufmerksamkeit im deutschen Sprachraum. Die Ähnlichkeiten und die Unterschiede der deutschsprachigen und der ungarischen Rezeption der einzelnen Autoren lässt sich zusammen mit der Übersetzung als ein interkultureller Transfer verstehen. Es gibt die Möglichkeit, die Leistung der Literatur im interkulturellen Diskurs zu interpretieren.
