Aims, contents and method of the course

21 April 09 - 29 April 09 (Unterricht findet vormittags und nachmittags statt und wird durch Diskussionen, DVD Filme und Musik aus Lettland ergänzt)

Der Kurs für lettische Sprache und Kultur ist als eine Einführung in die Landeskunde Lettlands geplant. Im Vordergrund steht die Entwicklung der Sprachfähigkeiten (Teil 1 - lettische Sprache für Anfänger (ohne Sprachkenntnisse. Unterrichtssprache für Teil 1 ist Deutsch) und Vermittlung des allgemeinen Grundwissens über Geschichte und Kultur Lettlands (Teil 2 - Geschichte und aktuelle Themen im heutigen Lettland. Z. B. - Kulturpolitik, politische Diskurse, Demokratie und Parteiensystem, ethnische Minderheiten. Unterrischtssprache für Teil 2 ist Englisch). Am Ende des Kurses eine "Tatsachen" Umfrage (Definitionen, Tatsachen, Namen), sowie Sprachtest (mündlich) werden als Prüfungen angeboten.
