Aims, contents and method of the course
In der ungarischen Literaturwissenschaft sind am Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts wichtige Wandlungen abgelaufen. Diese Wandlungen sind teils in Zusammenhang mit der sich veränderten institutionellen und politischen Umstände, aber teils sind sie Rusultate von umfassenden Prozessen. Literaturkritik wurde professioneller und der literarische Markt wandelte sich auf radikale Weise um. Die 90er Jahre sind der Zeit des sogenannten "theoretischen Big Bang" in Ungarn: die gesamte Fachliteratur von ca. 20-30 Jahren ist "hereingestürtzt" in die ungarische Literaturwissenschaft nach der langen (obwohl partiellen) Isolation.

Wir untersuchen die Mannigfaltigkeit dieser Zeit - vom "sozialistischem Realismus" durch Dekonstruktion bis zum "cultural turn" - und versuchen die rezenten Tendenzen des professionalen Literaturverständnis in Ungarn zu verstehen.
