Aims, contents and method of the course

Einführung in die wichtigsten Fragen und Methoden der Sprachkontaktforschung. Die verschiedenen Kontaktsituationen zwischen den slavischen und den finnougrischen Sprachen, ihre Geschichte, ihre soziopolitischen Kontexte und ihre Auswirkungen.

Assessment and permitted materials

Schriftliche Abschlussprüfung.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grundkenntnisse der Bedeutung und der wichtigsten Aspekte des Sprachkontakts, Verständnis der wichtigsten Termini der Sprachkontaktforschung (z.B. "Substrat", "Lehnübersetzung", "Codewechsel"). Einblicke in die verschiedenen Kontaktsituationen zwischen Finnougrisch und Slawisch.

Vorlesung mit begleitender Lektüre.
