Aims, contents and method of the course

starting with Jan Kollars theory of "Slavonic Alternation" selected relations between East- ans Westslavonic literatures will be explored in a comparative way and will be discussed with the help of theory of culture

knowledge of important interliterary relations in the field of slavonic literatures
getting used to methods of literary comparison and cultural studies

literary comparison: genetic relations, typologic analogies
non literary context, problems of identity, stereotypes
