Aims, contents and method of the course

Allgemeine Einführung in die finnische Literaturgeschichte. Stilrichtungen und Tendenzen der finnischen Literatur im kulturhistorischen Kontext vom Anfang des 20. Jh. bis heute. Eingangsvoraussetzungen: keine. Anmeldung per E-Learning (Fronter) erforderlich.

Finnische Literatur in deutschen Übersetzungen. Die Leseliste wird am Anfang des Semesters bekannt gegeben. Als Begleitlektüre werden folgende Werke empfohlen: Pertti Lassila: Geschichte der finnischen Literatur (A. Francke Verlag Tübingen und Basel 1996); Kai Laitinen: Finnische Literatur im Überblick (Otava Verlag, Helsinki 1989). Pekka Tarkka: Finnische Literatur der Gegenwart. Fünfzig Autoren-Porträts. (Otava Verlag, Keuruu, 1983).
