Aims, contents and method of the course
In der Übung werden die Genderfragen in der modernen ungarischen Prosa thematisiert. Nach einer theoretischen und historischen Einführung über die Gender Studies und Feminismusforschung werden die Genderaspekte in relevanten, ausgewählten Prosatexten der modernen ungarischen Literatur analysiert.Ziel der Lehrveranstaltung ist die Vertiefung des wissenschaftlichen Umgangs mit einem Thema, sowie die Festigung der wissenschaftlichen Praxis. Die Studierenden sollen sich mit einem frei gewählten Werk aus der Thematik näher auseinandersetzen und dies in Form von einem Referat und von einer ersten Hausarbeit wissenschaftlich aufarbeiten.

Essay, 14-16 pages, Times New Roman ( 1 1/2)

A deeper understanding of relevant theories and concepts in the cultural theory on nation building
Examination topics
short lectures, team working, presentations by students, close reading, discussion, handouts, power point.
