Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Lehrveranstaltung beschäftigt sich mit dem literarischen Übersetzen. Es geht dabei nicht nur um die Praxis des Übersetzens, also um Analysen vorliegender literarischer Übersetzungen aus dem Ungarischen, sondern auch um die theoretische Auseinandersetzung der Wissenschaft mit dem gesamten Komplex des literarischen Übersetzens. Es werden Texte von Schlegel, Walter Benjamin, Umberto Ecco uva. besprochen. Es empfiehlt sich zusätzlich, die Vorlesung "Literarisches Übersetzen" von Dr. Erika Erlinghagen zu besuchen, um einen breiteren Einblick in die Thematik zu erhalten.

Lektüre, 2 Referate, schriftliche Abschlussarbeit im Umfang von 30 A4 Seiten

Ständige Anwesenheit, Referate und Abschlussarbeit wird gefordert.
