Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Attendance & active participation or group work, timely submission of reading and research protocols, short presentations, submission of a written conference report (If students are unable to attend the conference for academic, professional or care-related reasons, an appropriate substitute will be arranged instead.)Attendance is compulsory in the course. Students who are absent from the first course unit without an excuse will be automatically deregistered from the course. In the course of the semester, it is possible for students to be absent twice without an excuse. Further absences must be cleared with the course lecturer, if necessary by providing a doctor's certificate.
Homework must be handed in on time despite absence or submitted by the agreed deadline after consultation with the course lecturer.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The overall grade is made up of the three sub-grades for
1) Active participation in the course
2) Assignments during the semester: presentations / reading & research protocols
3) Conference reportAll three sub-grades must be positive in order to achieve a positive overall grade. The weighting of the partial grades is equal.
