Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
A short presentation about your own term paper, which is to be handed in at the end of the semester, or a presentation and oral examination (with selected works from the reading list plus secondary literature). Attendance is compulsory. Participation in discussions will be considered. When determining the semester grade, the participation, the presentation, and the seminar paper or the examination will be evaluated.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
For the determination of the semester grade, are taken into account: the participation, the presentation, and the seminar paper on the topics of the list of presentations. (12/15 pages essay with independent topic selection; presentation with a handout or ppt presentation, etc.)
Examination topics
Regular attendance; Participation in the discussion, presentation, and seminar paper: essay.
Reading list
The exactly required reading will be discussed in class.
