Aims, contents and method of the course

The goal of the "Ringvorlesung" is to give a broad overview of the state-of-the-art research and current theory, practice, and methods in Digital Humanities. The speakers from various fields in the humanities will discuss how digital approaches they are using brake new ground in their fields.

Assessment and permitted materials

Assessment will be by written examination at the end of the course (multiple choice and short-answer). Written notes are allowed.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grading scale:

1 (very good) 100-90 points;
2 (good) 89-81 points;
3 (satisfactory) 80-71 points;
4 (adequate) 70-60 points;
5 (unsatisfactory) 59-0 points;

Examination topics

The examination will consist of topics covered in the course.
