Aims, contents and method of the course

Folgende Aspekte türkisch-osmanischer Kultur werden behandelt:
1. Block: Geistesleben (Bildungswesen, Bibliotheken und Buchdruck, Wissenschaften, Literatur, Pressegeschichte)
2. Block: Künste (Kalligraphie, Miniaturen, Musik, Traditionelles Theater, Architektur)
3. Block: Arbeits- und Alltagsleben (Zunftwesen, Freizeit, Genußmittel, Drogen )
4. Block: Hofkultur ( Harem, Zeremonien und Feste)

Assessment and permitted materials

Schriftliche Prüfung in der letzten Unterrichtsstunde, weitere Termine am Beginn und in der Mitte des WS 2018

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

15 Fragen sind schriftlich zu beantworten; max. Punktezahl 75, positiv ab 40.
