Aims, contents and method of the course
Poetic rhetoric (Belâgat) and syntax of the Ottomans
Assessment and permitted materials
No final examination, but regular attendance (missing twice is tolerated), paper read with written handout, the elaborated handout must be submitted as seminar paper, constant collaboration, independent research and reports on it.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Basic knowledge of Ottoman rhetoric.
