Aims, contents and method of the course

Analyse, Lesen und Übersetzen arabischer Medientexte zu den Themen Politik und Wirtschaft.

Assessment and permitted materials

Teilnahme, aktive Mitarbeit, schriftliche Hausübungen, Zwischentests, schriftlicher Abschlußtest.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Aktive Kompetenzen in Bezug auf den mündlichen und schriftlichen Gebrauch der modernen arabischen Schriftsprache sowie der Erschließung originalsprachlicher Texte. Kenntnis des gundlegenden Wortschatzes der zeitgenössischen mediensprache sowie ein Lese- und Hörverständis einfacherer Nachrichtentexte. Europäischer Referenzrahmen, Niveaustufe B1.

Examination topics

Übungen und Besprechung von Pressetexten und TV-Nachrichten und Berichten.
