Aims, contents and method of the course

Lektüre und Analyse arabischer Texte über Grammatik, Sprachphilosophie, Geschichte. Altarabische und moderne Poesie, Lieder, moderne Kurzgeschichten.

Assessment and permitted materials

Regular preparation, active collaboration, term paper at the end of semester

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Fähigkeit zur Lektüre und Analyse von modernen und/oder klassisch-arabischen Texten und Kenntnis der dazu notwendigen sprach- und/oder literaturwissenschaftlichen Terminologie. Eigenständige Erarbeitung ausgewählter Themen aus der arabischen Philologie unter Heranziehung der relevanten Quellen und der maßgeblichen Sekundärliteratur.

Lesen, Verstehen und Analysieren von Texten auf philologischer Grundlage.
